Return and Refund Policy

At Safa Foods we want your order to arrive correctly and in good condition. This policy explains returns, refunds, cancellations and EU consumer withdrawal rights.

1. EU right of withdrawal

Consumers in the European Union generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days from the day they receive the goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, contact us by email at info@safa-foods.eu and include your order number.

2. Food product exceptions

Because Safa Foods sells groceries and food products, some products cannot be returned after delivery. The right of withdrawal does not apply, or may be lost, for:

  • perishable goods or products with a short use-by date, including certain fresh fruits and vegetables;
  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
  • opened, used, damaged or incomplete food products;
  • goods made or packed specially according to customer requirements.

Opened or unsealed food products are generally not accepted for return unless the item is defective, damaged or incorrect.

3. Damaged, wrong or defective items

If you receive damaged, wrong or defective goods, contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of delivery, at info@safa-foods.eu. Please include:

  • order number;
  • description of the issue;
  • photos of the product and packaging.

After review, we may offer replacement, partial refund, full refund or another suitable solution. Your statutory warranty rights are not affected.

4. Return condition

Where a return is accepted, products must be unused, unopened, originally sealed, complete and in resaleable condition.

5. Return costs

If you return goods during the withdrawal period, you are responsible for return postage unless we caused the return by sending wrong, damaged or defective goods, or unless we agree otherwise.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment provider and may take several business days.

7. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch. Once an order has been dispatched, this return policy applies.
